The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has notified system-driven disclosures for the inclusion of listed debt securities.
The system is focused on disclosures has been implemented for a member of the promoter group and the designated person in addition to the promoter and director of a company under Regulation 7(2) of the PIT Regulation relating to trading equity and equity derivative instruments, i.e. futures contracts. and Listed company options (if any) by the entities. Information relating to the Equity and Equity Derivatives segments is posted on the exchange’s website under “System-Driven Information”.
The Market Authority has now decided to include listed debt securities of listed companies within the scope of the so-called System Driven Disclosures for Entities. In addition, the procedure for implementing system-driven disclosures, as provided for in SEBI Circular no. of September 9, 2020, will also apply to listed Debt Securities.
Custodians and exchanges will arrange for information relating to listed debt securities as well as equities and equity derivatives to be disseminated on the websites of the respective exchanges from 1 July 2021.
